A native of Watertown, NY Jennifer has lived in Charlotte since 2007. She has a doctorate in physical therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where she was also honored as class valedictorian. She is also a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College, where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology.
Jennifer specializes in manual therapy, orthopedic, spine, and sports PT and utilizes an evidence-based approach to help relieve pain and optimize function for her patients. Having helped everyone from children with developmental disabilities to seniors contending with balance and strength challenges, she welcomes the opportunity to meet the needs of the diverse FocusPTF client community.
Jennifer has taken additional coursework in the Maitland approach, Spinal Stabilization, PNF, Development of Gait, Fall Prevention, and Muscle Energy Therapy. Jennifer serves as a guest lecturer in neuroanatomy at Winthrop University, and is currently pursuing the Functional Orthopedic Certification from the Institute of Physical Art.
