FocusPTF Announces New Therapists: Jamie Berenson Jacquier, DPT

Jamie, a native of Massachusetts, received her BA degree in Health and Exercise Science from Syracuse University in 1998 and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. She has spent the last 6 years helping individuals of all ages with a variety of conditions with a special emphasis on sports injury.
Jamie has been schooled in many different areas of physical therapy---Adolescent sports injuries, post- operative rehab for joint replacements, back, shoulder and ankle injuries and balance therapy for all ages. She is certified in vestibular rehabilitation treating patients who suffer from vertigo and balance dysfunction.
She has spent time with the elderly teaching them how to be safe and prevent falls by speaking at community centers. Jamie has recently become certified in Pilates and Pilates Rehabilitation. She enjoys exercising and has completed several marathons as well as competed in figure competitions in the northeast.
Jamie’s high energy and passionate approach to patient care has put her on the map in the Lake Wylie community. In the few months Jamie has been with Focus PTF she has become a valuable team member to both the staff and our patients.
