FocusPTF Announces New Therapists: Jennifer Vespa McGrann, DPT and Jennifer Shiflett, PTA

Jennifer is a native of Watertown, NY and has lived in Charlotte since 2007. Graduating with her doctoral degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, she was awarded valedictorian of her class. Prior to that, Jennifer studied Psychology at Boston College and graduated summa cum laude.
She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and has experience ranging from children with developmental disabilities to older adults with balance and strength impairments. During her clinical residencies, Jennifer was educated in the Maitland approach, pediatric early intervention, manual therapy and sports physical therapy. In addition to her many continuing education electives, she is currently working toward a Functional Orthopedic Certification through the Institute of Physical Art. She has trained and supervised clinical staff on evidence based practice, and will soon be an adjunct professor at Winthrop University.
Jennifer brings her patients the most current evidence based research along with her specialization in manual therapy and other treatment modalities to relieve pain, improve function and maximize their physical well-being.
